Golite Reach Ultra Lite Multi Sports Jacket

I noticed a lot of guys at the Adrenalin Rush 2002 were wearing these jackets and all seemed very impressed by their performance especially when you take into account their lightness and pack size. The spec as given is:

All of this translates into a wonderfully well designed jacket ideally suited to the adventure racer or just those who like to move fast and light. The material is 100% waterproof and breaths amazingly. Ventilation has been well thought too meaning that even running hard during a summer shower will not cause overheating. Small details such as the oversized helmet friendly hood and reinforced elbows and shoulders should also please the hard racer.

The cut also is unusual with a short body and long arms. This however makes climbing and paddling a joy with no riding up it also feels good for running. It is only on a bike that the short body is a disadvantage but I always thought those silly tails on cycling jackets looked ridiculous and chances are you’ll buy the matching lightweight waterproof trousers anyhow!
