Sealskinz Mid-Light Socks

Everyone raves about these socks, but I personally found they didn't suit me. I found them quite heavy (even the lightweight ones) and they made my feet feel hot and sweaty. They apparently help with blister-prevention, and their water-proof quality is considered their main asset.

Lots of people use them for the MDS, as they are so snug fitting (almost cutting off the blood supply in my case!) they seemingly keep the sand out. That could be a bonus, but personally I still cannot imagine how people can bear to wear them in hot climates!

What does anyone else think about them?
