This pack should be a British design classic.

The Marathon 35 is the development of the famous KIMM Sac, stalwart of bearded-real-ale-drinking-whippet-like-fell and mountain marathon runners for more than a decade. At a light 725g the pack is extremely stable while running but also allows ease of access to gear. A great combination in fast moving events. The KIMM sac was very simple and hard wearing (my old KIMM sac is still going strong even though I've now replaced it with a new Marathon 35) and these qualities have been built on by Karrimor to include features such as a Coolmax back, larger mesh stash pockets, larger pockets on the waist belt and a compartment for a 2 litre hydration bladder. The pack still requires careful packing to be comfortable but it has the benefit of wide shoulder straps allowing comfortable carrying of loads up to 13 Kilos.

The pack performed very well for Team Eventrate in the Southern Traverse and all in all seems to be very well suited for both expedition length ultras and ARs as well as for shorter events.
