Guadarun 2006
Dates have now been confirmed for the 2006 edition of the Guadarun, a 150km stage race which takes place on the islands of the Guadeloupe Archipelago.
The Guadarun is a multi day race, giving runners the opportunity to experience this picturesque part of the French Caribbean and combine it with some taxing stages.
One day you may be running in the rain forest on the island of Basse Terre, coping with elevation gain of about 3,000 metres, the next day you could be running along the beach and around the island of Marie Gallante finishing on the shores of the Caribbean.

There is something for everyone, with stages varying for 16km to 45km.
After the stages you will travel by boat to the island where the following days stage will be held. Nights will be spent either in small tents on the beach or in large military tents provided by the French military who assist with the logistics.
The race will take place from June 1st - 10th 2006.
