The Dogon Marathon is a 126km supported ultramarathon , run in 5 stages along the cliffs of Bandiagara in Mali combining some tough running stages with the cultural beauty of this spectacular country.

DOGON MARATHON 2006

The 2006 edition of the Dogon Marathon will take place from December 26th 2006 to 2nd January 2007, giving competitors the opportunity to combine this unique experience with the opportunity to bring in the New Year in an unique way.
The cost is 1990euros including flights out of Paris.

HOW TOUGH IS IT?
Any race covering a distance of 126 km over 5 stages is going to take its toll on the body, however the fact that this race is supported and combines running and cultural visits gives competitors the opportunity to recharge their batteries between stages.
